A cut above for charity

Some people run a marathon or climb a mountain to support a charity but our apprentice Nick Burtonwood chopped off his prized locks to support the Little Princess Trust.

The Little Princess Trust provides real wigs to boys and girls across the UK that has sadly lost their hair through cancer treatment.

Nick based in Taunton explained: “It’s taken a while to get my hair to this length but I could not think of a better reason to cut it off and donate my hair to the trust while asking friends and family to sponsor me too.

“The Little Princess Trust provides that little bit of extra support for the children and their families when they need it the most.

“I would like to thank everyone for their support helping me raise almost £500 plus a donation from Western Power Distribution.”

Thanks to Nick’s contribution his hair will hopefully help a child regain a little bit of normality while coping with the effects of cancer treatment.
