Charity Raffle proves a draw

Our offices in Derby were the scene of the grand draw for Sight Support Derbyshire’s Winter Raffle.

Tickets are sold to members, families, friends and members of the public every year, and this year’s raffle raised £3,980 towards the charity’s services for local blind and visually impaired people.

Eileen Bagguley, Sight Support Derbyshire’s Fundraising and Communications Manager, said: “The first prize of £500 cash, kindly donated by WPD, proved a great draw for ticket holders, but everyone knows the real winners are the people in Derbyshire who benefit from our services.”

Derby Distribution Manager Simon Havill said: “We were delighted to support the fundraising raffle. We’ve supported Sight Support Derbyshire in different ways for a number of years because of the excellent work they do in the local community.”
