Devon under-14s football sponsorship

Devon youngsters are celebrating after receiving new playing kit.

The kit was presented to members of Activate U14s football team by electricity company Western Power Distribution (WPD).

Activate Youth Football Club Under 14s who play at Eggbuckland in Plymouth, received a new playing kit from WPD’s Trudy Smith-Langmead. Trudy’s son, George, plays for the side in the Devon Junior & Minor Under 14s League ‘Grenville’ Division.

Club Chairman and team manager, Mike Trotter, said; "the whole team were delighted with WPD’s support and couldn’t thank WPD enough for their sponsorship. They are thrilled with their smart new look. It has given all the players & parents a real positive boost, building up their team spirit for the season ahead."
