Join our workshop: give us your views on our support for vulnerable customers this winter

We want to know how you think we should support our most vulnerable customers this winter.

To have your say, we’re inviting stakeholders to join us for a workshop that will help shape our programme of support for customers in need over the coming months.

Our Social Obligations workshop will take place online on Wednesday 2nd November from 10am to 1pm.

The workshop will focus on the challenges facing many of our customers who are at risk of, or experiencing, fuel poverty this winter and how we can help to address these pressing issues. We must also ensure that the most vulnerable are not left behind in the transition to a smart, low carbon economy and can access the benefits of low carbon technologies like electric vehicles and heat pumps.

Topics for the day will include:

  • Our programme of support for customers in vulnerable situations;
  • Helping customers in immediate crisis;
  • Supporting those who are 'just managing' or at risk of fuel poverty this winter;
  • A smart energy transition that is 'fair for all';
  • How to collaborate with partners and industry colleagues to maximise our support for vulnerable customers

If you would like to have an impact on our approach to these important issues, we’d love you to join our other attendees, including charities, local authorities and industry colleagues, at the event on 2 November.
