Running the extra mile

Colleagues fromWestern Power Distribution (WPD)put their trainers on to take part in the Awsworth 5k fun run in aid of Mencap, helping to raise £3000 in the process.

The event, which was also sponsored by the electricity distribution company, was hosted by Awsworth Primary School, with around 400 joggers taking part.

“We had a great day and as you can see, some of the team really took fun to another level with their costumes!” said Paul Davies, WPD’s Team Manager for the area.
