Children from 12 primary schools in South Gloucestershire have been learning all about nocturnal predators from Avon Wildlife Trust thanks to a partnership with WPD.

Through a range of activities and games they learnt bats are a top nocturnal predator and the important role they play in biodiversity.

Students at Tyndale Primary in Yate were one of the first schools to benefit and able to see up close a stuffed bat and some of the live moths they normally feed on.
