We aim to submit Project Progressions and Modification Applications, more broadly known as Transmission Impact Assessments, to the National Energy System Operator (NESO) for all distribution customers within four months of connection offer acceptance.
In 2024, this meant we submitted in excess of 140 Transmission Impact Assessments, equivalent to sharing information about generation connections with NESO almost every other day.
As part of Connection Reform, NESO have paused acceptance of new Transmission Impact Assessments. This means we are unable to submit any additional Project Progressions or Modification Applications until the next window opens. The date for this next window is yet to be confirmed.
More information can be found regarding connection reform, here.
Information regarding the pause on Transmission Impact Assessments can be found on NESO’s website.
The tables below show a list of our most recent Transmission Impact Assessments submissions TO NESO per GSP and the dates of accepted distribution connection offers they cover.
