Worst Served Customers

We are committed to making improvement for customers who experience a high numbers of faults

While NGED’s network performance is among the best in the industry, there are some customers who experience high numbers of faults. Dedicated funding has been provided in the RIIO-ED2 price control to make improvements for customers who are classified as                      worst served.

NGED will review network performance data annually to identify those parts of the network that could benefit from targeted investment to reduce the number of faults or reduce the impact of faults on worst served customer.

The methodology document below specifies how we go about selecting the projects for worst served customers.
