Community Energy Events

WPD and Regen are running a number of events to help you embrace innovative business models like local supply, adapt to policy changes, and connect to the grid.

The policy landscape for communities has changed significantly in the past year, creating both challenges and opportunities. These events will help groups to evaluate new business models and funding options, as well as understand how connections are a key element of renewable energy developments and the huge impact and opportunities they can present.

We plan to help groups understand how to navigate grid issues, find out how they can work together with Western Power Distribution (WPD) to secure a grid connection and what the innovative options are if there is currently no affordable capacity. It's about finding solutions and getting inspired to think outside the box.
