Appendix G Information
Landulph
The following table provides an overview of Appendix G details for this GSP.
Total MW Table 1 Contains legacy and new sites. If Total MW Table 1 remains below the Materiality Trigger Appendix G is submitted to NGESO on monthly basis. Where addition of new sites exceeds the Materiality Trigger a Project Progression or a Modification Application submission will be required to assess the impact on the National Electricity Transmission System.
Appendix G headroom: There is no guarantee or assurance that capacity included in the Headroom will be available or that plant will be able to connect using that capacity. For example, Materiality Headroom and Fault Level Headroom can be utilised shortly after it is published on our website due to an acceptance of a connection offer, which will be captured in Appendix G submission to NGESO in the following month.
In addition a summary of the technical conditions for the Grid Supply Point are provided in the form of reverse power flow limits, fault levels, voltage conditions, or any particular technology limit.

Materiality Headroom Subject to Completion of Transmission Works | Wider transmission reinforecement works. Expected Completion Date December 2036. |
Power Factor Range
In order to allow NGED to contain voltage within acceptable limits at the National Electricity Transmission System (NETS)/ Distribution System interface, the Customer must ensure that the generators (≥1MW) have the capability to operate between 0.95 leading and 0.95 lagging power factor. Customers will be advised of the target Power Factor within this range.
Emergency Disconnection
National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) has instructed that NGED shall maintain a facility such that under emergency conditions on the National Electricity Transmission System (NETS), NGED shall have the ability to de-energise embedded generation (≥1MW) upon instruction from NGET.
SWOT
The Customer’s generation will be included in the South West Operational Tripping Scheme (the SWOTS) required by National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET). The SWOTS will automatically constrain the Customer’s generation output to zero during N-3 outage conditions on the National Electricity Transmission System (NETS).
Connect & Manage
The Customer’s generation will be included in Connect & Manage arrangement to address transmission system constraints in the South West through NGET having better management, visibility and control of Distributed Energy Resources (DER).
Operational Visibility and Commercial Control
The Customer's connection will be required to provide visibility of the actions and/or output of the DER and a means to satisfy coordinated control between NGED ESO and NGET, such that NGED can discharge its obligations to develop, maintain, and operate an efficient, coordinated and economical system for the distribution of electricity.
Technical Limits
The Customer's connection can participate in Technical Limit scheme, which allows for earlier energissation of connections on an interim basis, subject to 'Technical Limit' curtailment ('Interim Network Access Rights'), ahead of the completion of enabling transmission reinforcement works.
